What a great experience to participate on Saturday's Kumdo Championship! Tks for photos, Dave. BTW, Tagawa kun did Hitari Jodan???

Watching the slideshow, I witness again everybody's dedication to play good Kendo --> the correct Kamae, quality cuts (Men Uchi, different waza), team spirit when Nishimoto san had to concentrate on winning the Ippon for the 1st round Dan Team competition. Anyhow, where's Itakura Sensei Ippon for the extended time - Enchyo 延長?

Emmm, who hit Chris Barbe's Men, was it Bibian (Vivian Y.)?

Let's have more fun in Melbourne - AKC, 9 - 10 June 2007!

BTW, working on video clips now, pls stay tuned, Dave. You'll have yours in 72 hours ^_^ Kass.

Hey Dave, thanks for the beautiful photos. The photo shot with Taek executing the tsuki was beautifully timed. So nice.

To clarify Kassandra's query, I didn't play Chris in the competition.

Let's train hard and keep the nice and positive energy flowing to the Australian Championships!

Thanks for the nice comments Kassandra & Vivian.

Kassanadra - I was too busy watching the encho match to take photos :-)

Viv, I think taking that shot of Taek was more by good luck than timing, but I do agree, it is a really nice shot. It's one of the stand outs, along with the shot of the Dan team before their first match.

I still have a lot of work to do to prepare myself for the Nationals, both in my kendo and my photography
